The B2B (Business-to-Business) Business Registration Form is used for businesses to register with or sign up for State of South Dakota services. You'll need to provide some information about your business, including EIN or an Identification number. You'll also give some information about yourself, the business contact, who will be the primary contact of the business upon approval.
In the B2B site, go to register and click on Business register.
Fill out the fields for the business and legal entity name. You'll need to provide either your business's Tax ID number (EIN) or use a SSN for the identification number if your business has not yet established a Tax ID Number.
Provide the business's primary mailing address, phone number, and and email address (this can be a generic email like sales@business.com).
The Contact registration number is used for inviting other contacts into your business. This will be used in the Business Contact Registration process. Change this if desired or use the default generated code.
For Primary contact information, provide your first and last name along with your work email address. A work phone number is optional.
Submit the registration when all required fields are filled. The information will be reviewed for approval. Upon approval, an email will be sent to the email address used for the primary contact with an invite to the site.
